FINALITAT DE LA PROVA
Avaluar les possible existència de teixit gàstric de localització anòmala que pugui estar sagnant.
PREPARACIÓ PRÈVIA
Cal que vingui en dejú (mínim 6 hores). Si pren habitualment qualsevol medicació, cal que ho comuniqui al personal sanitari, especialment si és un medicament que afavoreix el buidament gàstric. No s’ha d’haver fet en els dies previs, proves que puguin interferir (trànsit esòfago-duodenal, ènema opac).
REALITZACIÓ DE LA PROVA
Una hora abans de la prova haurà de prendre per via oral 20 mg d’omeprazol. Després s’administra un radiofàrmac per via endovenosa, que no dóna cap tipus de reacció secundària. Tot seguit, li col·locarem en decúbit supí (estirat cap amunt) i obtindrem imatges del seu abdomen. Als 45 minuts li farem orinar i realitzarem deteccions post- miccionals i laterals.
DURADA DE LA PROVA
L’exploració dura uns 60 minuts.
RECOMANACIONS DESPRÉS DE LA PROVA
De la prova no es deriva cap tipus de complicació ni efecte secundari i podrà fer vida normal un cop finalitzada.
ACOMPANYANTS
Podrà venir acompanyat. Serà necessari en el cas de nens o sempre que l’estat del pacient ho requereixi.
RESULTATS
En acabar la prova, el personal sanitari i/o administratiu l’informarà sobre què cal fer per recollir el resultat.
ADVERTIMENTS
En cas que estigui embarassada o pensi que pot estar-ho, o si està alletant el seu fill, cal que ho comuniqui al personal sanitari abans de realitzar la prova.

FINALIDAD DE LA PRUEBA
Evaluar la posible existencia de tejido gástrico de localización anómala que pueda estar sangrando.
PREPARACIÓN PREVIA
Tiene que venir en ayunas (mínimo de 6 horas). Si toma habitualmente cualquier medicación, debe comunicarlo al personal sanitario, especialmente si es un medicamento que favorece el vaciamiento gástrico. No se tiene que haber hecho en los días previos pruebas que puedan interferir (tránsito esófago-duodenal, enema opaco).
REALIZACIÓN DE LA PRUEBA
Una hora antes de la prueba deberá tomar por vía oral 20 mg de omeprazol. Después se administra un radiofármaco por vía endovenosa, que no da ningún tipo de reacción secundaria. Enseguida lo colocaremos en decúbito supino (acostado boca arriba) y obtendremos las imágenes de su abdomen. A los 45 minutos le haremos orinar y realizaremos detecciones posmiccionales y laterales.
DURACIÓN DE LA PRUEBA
La exploración dura unos 60 minutos.
RECOMENDACIONES DESPUÉS DE LA PRUEBA
De la prueba no se deriva ninguna complicación ni efecto secundario y podrá hacer vida normal una vez finalizada.
ACOMPAÑANTES
Podrá venir con un acompañante. Será necesario en el caso de niños o siempre que el estado del paciente lo requiera.
RESULTADOS
Al finalizar la prueba, el personal sanitario y/o administrativo le informará sobre qué hacer para recoger el resultado.
ADVERTENCIAS
En caso de estar embarazada o pensar que pueda estarlo, o si está amantando a su hijo, comuníquelo al personal sanitario antes de realizar la prueba.
ECTOPIC GASTRIC MUCOSA SCYNTIGRAPHY
(MECKEL’S DIVERTICULUM)
PURPOSE OF THE TEST
Evaluate the possible existence of abnormally located gastric tissue that may be bleeding.
PREVIOUS PREPARATION
You must come on an empty stomach (minimum of 6 hours). If you regularly take any medication, you should inform the healthcare personnel, especially if it is a medication that promotes gastric emptying. Tests that may interfere (esophageal-duodenal transit, barium enema) should not have been done in the previous days.
PERFORMING THE TEST
One hour before the test, you should take 20 mg of omeprazole by mouth. Then a radiopharmaceutical is administered intravenously, which does not give any type of secondary reaction. Then we will place you in a supine position (lying on your back) and we will obtain the images of your abdomen. At 45 minutes we will make you urinate and perform post-void and lateral detections.
TEST DURATION
The scan takes about 60 minutes.
RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER THE TEST
No complications or side effects are derived from the test and you will be able to lead a normal life once it is over.
COMPANIONS
You may be accompanied for the test. This will be mandatory in the case of children or whenever the patient’s condition requires it.
RESULTS
At the end of the test, our medical and/or administrative staff will inform you about what needs to be done to collect the result.
WARNINGS
If you are pregnant or think you may be so, or if you are breast-feeding, you must tell our healthcare personnel before the test.
